Out Of The Woodwork is a story of humble beginnings. After returning from Africa in their first year of marriage, Solomon and Marissa felt inspired to create something of their own, a calling where they could turn their passion into purpose. Hard work, commitment and tenacity in learning their trade would organically evolve into a luxury furniture brand.
As a child, Solomon always loved building and working with his hands. From backyard forts to skateboard jumps to the many projects he would tackle with his dad this is where he thrived. This desire to work with his hands would evolve into his early adult years when he would begin a career in the construction industry.
Marissa has carried a creative expression for the arts since her early years. Her natural talent would ultimately transcend into her passion for decorating, design & photography.
Marissa’s artistic eye combined with Solomon's passion for building furniture, has allowed them to create the heirloom pieces their company is known for today.
Each piece stems from the value of home. With the future in mind, they continue to dream up new collections that follow current trends in the interior design space. They desire to see their furniture make its way into the homes and hearts of many, providing a personalized experience through custom pieces that will be loved for years to come.
