Yes we do! We've done many projects including office furniture, board room tables, table tops for commercial projects etc. Please reach out to us on our contact page for custom quotes.

Not at this time, however, we do have a wood shop with projects consistently on the go. We welcome potential clients to book visits by appointment only, usually to confirm wood selection or stain colour if need be. Feel free to reach out to us on our contact page to book an appointment!

Order Process:

When selecting any of our sizes with our products, please note you can size down from the size you choose and just leave a note when checking out with your exact size. If your size is beyond what we offer on our website, please visit our contact page for a custom quote.

We recommend the following for each furniture selection below...

Dining Tables: 30-36" around the parameter of the edge of the table to the edge of walls or obstructing fixtures (ex: Kitchen Island etc). When picking the right size for your table, we recommend 2 ft wide per chair.

Coffee Tables: Ideally you want a coffee table that is 2/3 the size of your sofa. Leave at least 12-18" of clearance around the table to allow for comfortable movement between furniture. For height, aim for the same height as your seat height or within 1-2" either way.

Side Tables: The same height or within 1-2" of the arm rest of your furniture.

Once you have placed your order an d checkout, you will be prompted to pay in full. Once your order is received on our end, we will send a follow up e-mail to confirm any details still needed and timeline for completion. Please allow us within a week to confirm your order. Alternatively, if you place an order with us via e-mail we require at least a 50% deposit to secure it and book a spot in our calendar, payable by e-transfer or credit card. *Please note, if you pay by credit card, there is a 2.9% fee so if you would prefer to save that and pay e-transfer you can place your order by e-mail.

Yes! We specialize in custom. If you don't see the right size, colour or design; feel free to reach out to us on our contact page for a custom quote. You can also customize any of our pieces we offer should you need specific requirements on sizing, placement of parts such as legs etc. If your dreaming up a complete custom piece, get in touch with us and we'd love to provide you with a custom quote.

Changes can be made up until a certain point in the order process. We will touch base with you once your order is paid for online to confirm and from there typically changes can take place until the last two weeks of your timeline when the build begins to happen. Stain selection sometimes takes longer to decide upon and can be confirmed closer to the build if need be.

Yes! If you are unsure about wood and stain selection, we offer by appointment only visits to our shop to view the different wood species and stain samples.

If you are local to Calgary, stain samples can be "rented" out and taken home for $50 per sample to view in your space if need be. Upon return of the sample, the rental fee will be refunded.

For orders not local to Calgary, stain samples can be shipped provided upon placing an order.

Typically, we are booking 10-12 weeks out from placing an order. Upon placing an order, we will confirm further details by e-mail. Feel free to e-mail us for current timelines if you have a specific deadline you are working with.

Once an order is placed, it can be refunded within 24 hrs only. Due to the custom nature of our products, all orders are not able to be exchanged or refunded beyond 24 hrs.

Shipping & Delivery:

Yes! We work with preferred delivery companies in Calgary and Western Canada to deliver most of our pieces and can also ship LTL freight across Canada / into the USA.

Local Calgary deliveries are $275+gst

Western Canada deliveries are approx $500-$900 depending on location. Across Canada to the Ontario area is approx $1500-$1800.

Please note, because we are a small, custom company we do ship to the USA however customs broker fees are at the expense to the client as well as shipping / crating costs which can range from approx $2500-$4500 depending on the piece.

Yes! If you have a truck, most can fit our tables depending on length. Please note, you are responsible for bringing your own moving blankets / straps to secure it in place. We can help load on our side for you as well.

We offer white glove delivery in Calgary and across Canada which means your piece will be delivered into your home and installed in place where you would like it.

Warranty & Care:

At Out Of The Woodwork, we offer a limited warranty on all our pieces covering a period of 6 months that begins at the time of receipt of the furniture being delivered or picked up. If a manufacturing defect is discovered during this time, we ask you to promptly notify us immediately. We will then repair or replace what is defective in material or workmanship. Our limited warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship and does not include any damages to property or person caused by the misuse, lack of care, improper installation of your pieces or incorrect maintenance. Our warranty applies for indoor household use only and not intended for outdoor use.

Please note, any modifications done by the consumer or third parties will void this warranty. Any shipping costs are at the responsibility of the client to pay to or from our wood shop location in Calgary for work completed under this warranty.

Not maintaining a consistent humidity and temperature can cause excessive shrinking or swelling of natural wood and can affect the look of the wood or possibly cause cracks or splitting. Solid wood furniture naturally has characteristics and variations in wood grain and/or colour (including knots, unique distress marks, exposed screws, wood filler marks, joint lines, and distinctive nicks, splits, cracks, heart wood, sap, natural discolorations and other naturally occurring characteristics as also discussed in our FAQ). Expansion and contraction can occur as the humidity level changes, even with slight percentage change, and the colour can shift over time with further discoloration in some areas such as around naturally occuring knots. These are normal characteristics of solid wood furniture and are not considered defects. While we would love to offer further warranty of our products, we are not able to due to the variances in individual homes that can affect natural wood pieces. It is also important that you follow our Care guide to avoid damage and potentially void this warranty period.
